Congratulations to the Des Moines Xplosion 18u team on the AAA National Championship.

The team started the tournament off a little rocky with two losses day 1. However rallied back to pick up a playoff spot after earning 2 wins on day 2. Day 3 brought the playoffs which the first matchup was against the Knoix Black Ice from New York. The boys had previously lost to this team but this time they controlled the game in the 1-0 win.

The championship game was rematch between the Des Moines Xplosion and Atlanta Gladiators. In round robin play, Xplosion beat the Gladiators 3-2. This time was no different with Xplosion coming out strong with an early lead and then holding it for the 3-2 win and bringing home the Gold.

The young men on this team have been working hard for 10+ years to get to the AAA Level and now they are AAA Champions.
