Coach Rob Kooker has been coaching and playing Hockey for over 30 years. Previously Rob was at Sk8 2000 helping build what was one of the best hockey programs, Des Moines Snappers.
After a short hiatus from hockey to start a family. He passed his passion of playing onto his two boys Landon and Brolen. Again Coach Rob built one of the Nations best hockey programs, Des Moines Xplosion.
Over the past 10 years, under Coach Rob Kooker, Xplosion has won over 25 National Championships at State Wars, TORHS, NARCH, and IHA Nationals. Rob also played PIHA (Professional Inline Hockey Association) with Leaf Ray Hockey.
